Why You Should Celebrate Success

Why You Should Celebrate Success

Throughout life we celebrate many things, holidays, birthdays, or anniversaries. Yet there’s one celebration we often times neglect, our own accomplishments on average we don’t celebrate them at all. This is fuel for the fire, neglecting what we’ve completed has many hidden benefits as well as providing insight into where we are and what we’ve done. All to often we finish a milestone and never look back at how far we have traveled. Looking back on the steps it took to get to where you are allows for focus on the details and work which providesĀ  added encouragement to move forward. When we continue to neglect our accomplishments subconsciously we begin to take a negative outlook at how much we’ve done. Truth is when you focus on what you’ve not done we are less likely to focus on the goals ahead, and become less enthusiastic about keeping a clear outlook at the task at hand. The good news is, when we incorporate celebration into accomplishments, it often times provides a boost in confidence and helps eliminate burnout. Here are a few examples of why it’s important to celebrate success, the small ones are as important as the big ones! Focus on success: It has been said what ever you focus on expands, You are a winner no matter where you are and what your doing, you are here for a reason and a purpose. Each day begin to see yourself as a champion when you do your allowing the universe to provide you with a pathway to success. When an athlete wins a race do you think they are...
Focus and Positive Energy

Focus and Positive Energy

If you and I are to live an extraordinary life we must first define what it is we want. In order to keep momentum going, first the vision to what we want should be clear. No distractions, focus on the goal, work everyday on the plan and don’t become attached to the outcome. With hard work the outcome is almost always the same. Each day focus is diverted to an outcome to which we need and want. But if we are not clear as to what we desire, results will be scattered at best. In today’s world life revolves around the next post, tweet, or text. Information is now literally at our fingertips. You can instantly find what your looking for in seconds which is good for a resource, but can be harmful if not used properly. News updates, politicsĀ  any text written is available for review. There are endless videos to watch if your not able to have a minute to read. This is an amazing time to be alive technology is simply limitless right now. Not that many years ago if we needed to learn about a subject matter we’d go to the library and find a book and read about that topic, take notes, with pen and paper…No such thing as spell check…Imagine no computer to type it on…Needless to say it would take hours to develop notes review and figure out answers to question we might have. Our lives have changed for the better some say, yet with our current resources you’d think we would have more time and less stress…Right! Truth is there’s almost...
Fear and Faith

Fear and Faith

No matter who you talk to these days opinions on our current state of the world varies, some say it’s just evolution while others say people are influenced by society, never the less one thing we can all agree on is we live in very uncertain times. Which leads to a level of fear for most. Turn on any electronic device and you’ll be exposed to information, sometimes good sometimes not so good. Anger, hate, and those who believe their ideal is what will fix what’s wrong with the world today. Distrust is the new norm in the world, we’ve begun to question what’s “real” or “fake news.” Life is a gift from our creator, it’s our obligation to not focus on negative or destructive thoughts while here on this planet. Spending time letting external challenges rule our lives in nothing less than a waste of time. If you and I are to live a life of freedom we must first let go of thoughts which hold us from moving forward. Dwelling on things we have little to no control over is allowing any personal growth to be limited. Decide to become a master, one why does not let fear enter your thoughts. When we look at fear it’s nothing more than a thought of what’s to come, worrying about external forces which will control your emotions. It’s those emotions direct energy toward unknown forces limiting our ability to control a better outcome. This only leads to further pain and suffering. No one can control when life decides to through you a curve ball, it hits hard and without...
Relaxing is Linked to Success

Relaxing is Linked to Success

In today’s world more and more people are so busy with work, family and keeping their head above water that many fall short of an important element of success. We’re now attached to the smart device 24/7 whether your sleeping or not you’re “Plugged in” it’s unlikely you’ll even notice just how much we’ve become a slave to a device… In recent years the internet has exploded with amazing information which benefits us all, allows us to search for anything needed in a moments notice with out delay, it’s a good thing right? However with the ability to be plugged into any resource we need you’d think we would be a much more relaxed society, but truth is…Look around, people have a layer of stress around them, information is so fast our brains can hardly keep up with it. Social media is not age related, anyone can get an account and post whatever is on their mind for the world to read, a never ending stream of posts show up on your page. How any of us can determine what each post means or what the message is at that second is quite a challenge. Have you ever noticed people walking around in a trance starring at their device like a message from the lottery department was being transmitted? So many of us have become totally dependent on these devices, it’s like a new wave has engulfed society and held them captive…Not allowing any of us a chance to even think about it. Which is what leads to most peoples frustration and an increase in stress levels. The chance...
Work Hard Today One Percent Harder Tomorrow

Work Hard Today One Percent Harder Tomorrow

You can ask any athlete what the secret to a successful team is, you’d find the answer is quite surprising. It’s not limited to recruiting the best in the game or teammates who get along, owners which pay the highest salaries, fans supporting whether you win or loose. Truth is the key to a successful team is leadership. Same is true in business…In sports a coach is vital to a teams success, understanding each element of the game as well as how to inspire all those who play. A coaches job is not for the faint of heart. One must possess the ability to recognize shortfalls and individual limitations. Extract extraordinary qualities from the players-address problems and inspire for better each day. Understand limitations and work within reasonable possibilities. Look at the team as they are…Not worse than they are. Not to dwell on an area which might be holding them back, a view of reality and possibilities. Vision is an element all those who wear the same shirt must see, without a realistic view the team becomes unable to improve. A great coach shapes the future of possibilities within reach as long as a constant effort is applied. There is an old saying…No pain no gain…You get out what you put in. Proper strategy is key to unleashing individual, effort, courage, faith, as well as transforming limitations into future success. If a team looses faith in leadership, the team begins to become complacent and the will to strive for better diminishes. Same is true when a coach pushes a team beyond limitations. If each day we’re asked to...

Before you know it the problem is now a major issue? Sound familiar? Issues, problems and everyday challenges are a part of everyday life…But…Our problems were created by us. How large an issue is gets manifested by our internal thinking at which point the issues is presented. The longer a problem goes on unaddressed the worse the problem becomes. Although problems can show up in our lives most we create ourselves. Outside forces don’t control how we think we do, if our level of thinking is to remain the same issues will continue over and over again. A very small shift in how we think can resolve an issue. For example, can you think about a time in life when bad things happen over and over again? A decision was made…But was it the same decision as before? The car your driving is having issues and it is time to buy a different vehicle, you go to the dealership only to talked into a car your not quite sure of, you’re told it’s a very good deal, however after a couple of months you only end up with a car with more issues! At the grocery store shopping for food for the week you’re waiting in line at the deli, you have a sense there will be a long wait yet you grab a ticket and stand in line. 20 minutes later (or that’s what it...
